Monday Musings

Musing Mondays (Aug.29)

Posted by MizB

 This week’s musing is… a book meme!

What was the last book you…
• borrowed from the library?

It’s sad, but I can’t remember. A children’s book probably, when my kids were very young.
• bought?

‘Lost Souls’ by Poppy Z. Brite. I loved the book so much that I had to buy the 10th anniversary edition. The one with the short story, ‘Stay Awake’ in it. Worth every penny.
• cried over?

‘The Value of X’ by Poppy Z. Brite. Keep in mind! When I find an author I like, I usually read everything by them I can get my hands on. 🙂
• disliked and couldn’t finish?

I’m still struggling with ‘Pirate Latitudes’ by Michael Crichton. It’s very well written, of course. I just can’t get into the story. Thinking I might just skim through it and call it good.
• read & loved?

‘Telling the Truth’ by Lee Brazil. I love pretty much all of his stories.
• gave to someone else?

‘ALEX’ It’s my recently published book and I gave a signed copy to my mom.
• stayed up too late reading?

‘Soul Kitchen’ by Poppy Z. Brite. It’s the last book in the series and I just had to finish it!

Those were fun questions! Find answers from others here

I’m like you – if I find a new author I like, I’ll end up getting all the other books that author has out too 🙂
