Here’s a bit more from SAMMY, my story for the Project Fierce, Chicago, Anthology. All proceeds from the sale of this book will go towards helping homeless LGBTQ youth. In this snippet, John isn’t too happy to find Sam at a bar.
* * * *
After ordering a beer he didn’t want, he sat back to watch the couples on the dance floor, wondering how many bars he’d have to visit that night before he found…
A gleam of blond hair made him sit up, pulse surging. Even in that crowd of gorgeous people Sam stood out, his tight body barely concealed in a sheer pink sheath dress. Pink panties didn’t hide the fact he was definitely male, though in this setting his androgynous beauty would have had John guessing, if he didn’t already know better. Heat flushed through him and he shifted on the stool as his cock woke up.
Sam swayed with the music, graceful, willowy, lean muscles twisting and turning him with the pounding beat echoing over the speakers. Suddenly his leather clad partner jerked him closer so that Sam straddled his thigh. Sam laughed and rubbed against him, hands roaming over his bare torso, pinched the guy’s dark nipples.
Hell no! John swallowed half his beer and strode into the crowd on the dance floor, making a beeline for the bright sheen of hair. When he reached them, Sam was laughing, his head thrown back as the guy nibbled his neck. Without stopping to consider Sam’s reaction, he gripped his shoulders and pulled him off the man, into his arms. Sam gasped and twisted his head around. Surprise and fear flashed in his eyes, then a wide grin touched his lips.
He turned and flung his arms around John’s neck. “Honey, what are you doing here?”
