Today, we meet Brandon…
* * *
Eran stared at his phone when Brandon ended the call, a crease between his brows. He’d met Brandon through a mutual friend, and Brandon had been giving him private self-defense classes for the last month. He knew Brandon was attracted to him and Eran had bided his time, wondering if Brandon would ever ask him out. But now that he’d met Paul…
Brandon’s red Prius pulled up to the curb, and Brandon gave him a wave, blond hair catching the sunlight. Eran smiled to himself. Brandon was all self-assured confidence and sexy smile. And that strong body holding him to the mat longer than necessary… And yet, he never made Eran’s heart pound the same way Paul did.
* * *
Paul’s falling in love with the barista at the new-to-him coffee shop. He can’t help it. Eran’s shy smiles and heated gaze across the room is driving him wild. Now to convince the beautiful, intelligent guy to go out with him.
But Eran’s shyness has been painfully earned. Physically and emotionally abused by his Father and then again by his sister’s brutish boyfriend, he’s wary of intimacy. He jumps at shadows, expecting violence, and is convinced he’s undeserving of anyone’s love.
Paul is determined to show him otherwise. In fact, his friend Shelton agrees that Eran is lovely enough to be a model, and that with a little confidence, he believes Eran can be anything he desires. With the help of a counselor and attending self-defense classes, Eran is making progress, but it just might take Paul’s love to uncover the bold, sexy man hiding inside him.
Ah, the pain of having too much of a good thing or does he? 🙂
Poor kid. But… good instincts. I think I’m going to like him a lot. 🙂
There’s a lot to be said for someone who makes your heart pound! ❤️
Nice introduction to Brandon
